DMZ Services was founded in 1995 to service the needs of various customers in the Southeastern United States.
The founder, David M. Zendzian(DMZ), had previously been Manager of Information Systems for the Atlantic Services Group,
and Founder/Board member of the second ISP in South Carolina (and the first in Charleston),
A World of Difference.
In early 2000, DMZ Services began providing services to the unique customers of the San Francisco Bay Area and the Internet.
The scope of services offered has been focused to
Systems: Design, Implement, Managed Support, Monitoring
& Security: PenTesting, Threat Analysis and System Patching, Managed Security Monitoring. Focusing on these needs, DMZ Services is able to offer the best solutions for Short Term or Long Term projects.

Provided IT Services to develop creators patent pending functions into Client-Server-Gateway Java Application with outsourced development shop. Acquired Solaris and Linux servers, setup Abovenet colocation
facility, deployed servers into colo and installed final application into secured cluster.
- 3d-Unlimited : Online gaming community
UNIX(Linux) Consulting. Design and implementation of web-based-email for 9 virtual domains under the 3d-unlimited
realm. This included custom programming of the TWIG and Cyrus OpenSource projects.
- JustGive.org : Global Gateway to Charitable Giving and Philanthropy on the Internet
UNIX(Linux)/NT and Internet Consulting. Setup Linux Internet Gateway and Packet Filter Firewall, Configured SAMBA but eventually
moved over to an NT file/print server.
- Gazoontite.com : Allergy Solution provider with Stores in NY, LA, San Francisco, Chicago and Online
UNIX(Solaris/Linux) Consultant/Support. Configured Development, QA and Production server farms. Assisted DBA and Developers in troubleshooting Oracle and
java problems on large multi-processor redundant systems. Configured cron and
other scripts to simplify repetitive applications. Installed custom bigbrother and MRTG monitors and provided documentation on all system(s) configuration. Also performed custom sendmail configuration
to provide inbound Internet proxy/gateway for corporate e-mail, assisted in move of office Dev and QA servers to new corporate offices and new office e-mail system. Currently monitor and support all systems in case of emergency.

In 1997 DMZ Services backed research for the first Wireless ISP in the Carolinas. However, due
to the minimal technology use in the region there was little reception for such services and all operations were relocated to San Francisco, CA in mid-1998.
